The Swatches option type lets you display your product choices in a visual and clickable way. Instead of just showing words (like “Red” or “Blue”), you can use color blocks, images, or styled buttons that make the selection process more engaging and fun for customers.
Swatches (Multi-selectable): This type is similar to the Swatches, but instead of only being selected one you can choose one, two or more values at a time.
With the basic settings, it defines how your swatches option will look and behave on your product page:
- Option name: The main title shown above the swatches.
- Swatches Value: Can display a visual swatch as Color or upload an image thumbnail.
- Choice Name: The name of the swatch (shown as tooltip/label).
- Default Selection: Pre-select a swatch if you want one to be chosen automatically.
- Additional cost: Add a surcharge if needed.
- Unit Quantity: Define how many units this swatch represents.
- Additional Description: Add a note for extra context.
With the advanced settings, make your swatches smarter and more dynamic with these features:
- Tooltip description on Label: Add a helpful note using a small info icon.
- Display style: Decide the shape of your swatches to best match your product or theme, including circle, square, or rectangular. Also choose how swatches are arranged on the product page, including vertical or horizontal style.
- Thumbnail when Hover: Make your swatches interactive by showing a larger preview image. When a shopper hovers over a swatch, a thumbnail pops up showing a clearer preview.
