The Popup option allows you to display additional information in a popup window without leaving the product page. Unlike the Link option, the content is shown directly in a modal, making it ideal for presenting size guides, care instructions, product specifications, FAQs, or other supporting information.
Basic settings
After adding a Popup option to your option set, you can customize how the popup is triggered, its appearance, and the content displayed to shoppers.
- Option name: The internal name of the option. By default, the option name is also displayed above the popup trigger.
- Hide option name on store: Hide the option label on the storefront while keeping the popup trigger visible.
- Trigger content: The text displayed for the popup trigger.
- Trigger style: Choose how the popup trigger is presented on the storefront.
- Text: Displays the trigger as an underlined, clickable text link.
- Button: Displays the trigger as a clickable button.
- Popup title: The title displayed at the top of the popup window. The editor supports rich text formatting, allowing you to customize the title with headings, links, lists, images, and other formatting options.
- Popup content: The main content displayed inside the popup. The rich text editor supports formatted text, images, tables, links, lists, and other content to help present information clearly.
Visibility
Use visibility rules to control when this option is displayed.
You can show or hide the popup based on other option selections or configured conditions.
Frontend display
On the storefront, the Popup option appears as either a clickable text link or a button, depending on the selected trigger style.
When clicked, a modal window opens to display the configured title and content without navigating shoppers away from the current product page.
